Dying for Justice by L J Sellers

Could the Jackson and Evans cases they are working be connected when they are separated by years?

This author shared a copy of her ebook with me for a review (thank you).  You can purchase the book in trade paperback form or ebook, check with your local bookseller.

This is the first book in this series that I have read.  Detective Jackson is a complex man who is a good cop. He's also lucky to be alive after the illness he suffered.  Ms. Sellers pairs him with a vibrant young woman who is determined to be a good officer and set aside her wild past.  Together, the two of them face big challenges in trying to solve two cold cases.

This author puts thought into her plots.  It's a complex plot with lots of twists and turns.  The murderer is not plain until the end of the story.

It's easy to get swept away into the lives of the characters.  They all have problems they are sorting through, none of them are perfect, and yet, justice prevails.

My favorite part is ending.  It's one of the most ironic I've read in a while and that's saying something since I read so much.  There will be more in this series, so start at the beginning and work your way up.  These books are worth a read.

Happy reading!
