Pantone: Color Puzzles

Here's a fresh approach to teaching a young child color tones:  Puzzles!

Abrams Appleseed sent me a copy of this book for review (thank you).  It's been published so check with your local bookstore for a copy.

I just love this book!  The Pantone colors are very vibrant and there are so many tones in each color. This board book offers you four similar colors and you need to figure out which puzzle piece goes with each color.

The puzzle pieces could be a temptation to chew on for very little ones so be sure yours is old enough to use the book.

I learned to match tones and colors by embroidering.  This is a lot more fun and even younger ones can pick up the tonal differences easily.

If your child likes to color, this will show them the different shades you can make.  Let them mix some of their own colors.  You may have a budding artist in your midst.

Happy reading.
